To comprehensively review and evaluate the Faculty's achievements across all areas of work during the past academic year, identify remaining challenges and limitations, and determine its directions and key tasks for the new academic year, the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture at Bac Lieu University solemnly held the Ceremony of Academic Year 2025-2026 Review and presented its directions and key tasks for the 2026-2027 Academic Year at 3:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026, in the University's Main Hall. The event also provided an opportunity to recognize, commend, and reward students with outstanding academic achievements, while acknowledging the valuable attention, partnership, and support of agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals that have contributed to improving educational quality and promoting the Faculty's sustainable development.
Representing the leadership of Bac Lieu University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tiền Hải Lý, Vice Rector, who attended the ceremony and delivered guidance; Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sang, Vice Rector; together with representatives of the University's faculties, administrative offices, centers, and affiliated organizations.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuấn, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture, presented the review report for the 2025-2026 academic year, which evaluated achievements in education, scientific research, community service, and extracurricular activities involving lecturers and students. It also identified difficulties and limitations as a basis for proposing solutions to further improve the quality and effectiveness of the Faculty's activities.

Continuing the program, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Kim Xuân, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture, presented the Faculty's Directions and Key Tasks for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The Faculty will continue to prioritize improving educational quality, strengthening scientific research, connecting theory more closely with production practice, expanding cooperation with agencies and businesses, and creating favorable conditions for students to develop the knowledge and professional skills required by the labor market.

Representing employers, Mr. Võ Hoàng Ba, Head of Human Resources at C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation, shared practical insights from a business perspective on current workforce requirements and emphasized the importance of aligning education with the actual needs of the labor market. His remarks not only provided students with valuable perspectives on the workplace and career development opportunities, but also helped them better orient their studies, strengthen their professional knowledge, develop essential skills, and cultivate the professional attitudes expected by employers after graduation.
The engagement and partnership of businesses provide an important bridge between the University and real-world production and commercial practice, helping improve educational quality in response to social needs. Through these partnerships, students gain greater access to actual workplaces, accumulate experience, develop professional competencies, and prepare proactively for their future careers. This also provides a foundation for the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture to further expand its business partnerships and progressively improve the quality of human resources to meet the development needs of the agricultural sector in a new era.

Representing the students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture, Phạm Duy Khánh, Secretary of the Faculty's Youth Union, expressed sincere appreciation and profound gratitude for the care, dedicated guidance, and support provided by the University's leaders and lecturers throughout the students' study and personal training. He also thanked the partner agencies, businesses, and organizations that have continually supported students and created opportunities for learning, practical experience, and personal growth. To recognize students' efforts, perseverance, and achievements in study and personal development, the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture awarded academic incentive scholarships for Semester II of the 2025-2026 academic year to 16 students with outstanding performance. These scholarships not only recognize the students' serious commitment to learning and determination to improve, but also provide meaningful encouragement and motivation to maintain their achievements and strive for better results in the new academic year.

One of the ceremony's most meaningful highlights was the care, partnership, and generosity shown by agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals toward the Faculty's educational activities and student support. By awarding scholarships to students facing financial hardship and contributing funds for scientific research and student activities, these partners demonstrated social responsibility and a strong commitment to accompanying the Faculty in education and human resource development.
On this occasion, Thai Viet Corporation awarded 15 scholarships, GrowMax Group awarded 10, C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation awarded 05, and the Artemia Vĩnh Châu - Bạc Liêu Cooperative awarded 05. A total of 35 scholarships, each valued at VND 1,000,000, provided practical support to students experiencing financial hardship. Beyond their material value, the scholarships also conveyed the businesses' care and expectations, offering encouragement, confidence, and determination to help students overcome difficulties, pursue their studies, and progress steadily on their educational journey.
