On the evening of September 26, 2026, at the Main Hall of Bac Lieu University, the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture delivered an outstanding performance at the 17th University Student Performing Arts Competition for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The Faculty achieved a particularly impressive result, winning First Prize in all four categories entered and claiming the Overall First Prize.

Performing under the theme “The Beauty of Lotus beneath the National Flag” - “Sắc Sen dưới bóng cờ Tổ Quốc”, the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture's performing arts team presented a cohesive program that used the lotus as its central image to portray the beauty of the country, national pride, gratitude to the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, and the younger generation's aspiration to contribute to the nation. Each of the four performances had its own artistic character, and together they formed an emotionally engaging story about Vietnam and its people.

The program opened with the dance “Vietnamese Pink Lotus” - “Sen hồng đất Việt”, depicting the pure and proud lotus rising gracefully beneath the Vietnamese sky. Rich in emotion, the performance celebrated the inner beauty, resilience, and enduring vitality of the Vietnamese people through the image of a flower deeply rooted in the nation's cultural identity.

The program continued with the solo “A Message to the Party” - “Thưa Đảng”, performed by student Nguyễn Quốc Huy. Through its heartfelt melody and moving interpretation, the song conveyed the voice of the younger generation, expressing trust, gratitude, and a strong sense of responsibility in studying, developing personal character, and striving to follow the Party's revolutionary ideals and President Ho Chi Minh's thought.

In the trio “Proud Vietnam” - “Việt Nam kiêu hãnh”, students Đặng Trung Nguyên, Giang Trung Hiếu, and Trịnh Khang Hy created a stirring atmosphere that evoked pride in the nation's history, resilience, and spirit of unity. Their powerful melodies and harmonious voices conveyed a deep love for the homeland and confidence in the country's future.

The competition program concluded with the group song-and-dance mashup “The Road Ahead - Artillery Pulling Chant” - “Đường lên phía trước - Hò kéo pháo”. Blending the heroic spirit of history with the energy of today's youth, the dynamic performance recreated the resilience and collective strength of earlier generations while expressing the ambition of young people to move forward and carry on this proud tradition in a new era.

Thanks to meticulous preparation in content, music, choreography, and performance style, all four entries from the Faculty earned First Prize in their respective categories.
